How Borderline Personality Disorder Affects the Rest of the Family

by Rick 2 Comments

how bpd affects the family

As a man who comes from a world of borderline personality disorder, having family members and several girlfriends with BPD, I think I’m a bit qualified to talk about my experiences.

And if you disagree? You can click that little back button and go read from someone else. This is my website where I share my experiences and what I learned to improve my BPD relationships over the years.

Still here? Good. I’m all about giving that real world experience, sharing stories from my real life. So be sure to check out my other articles if you like what you read.

BPD Boyfriend Broke Up With Me. Can I Get Him Back?

by Rick Leave a Comment

In comes a question from a nice woman who is wondering if she can get her BPD boyfriend back after he abruptly broke up with her. It seemed to be the typical “out of the blue” break up that you always hear about.

These are some of the worst experiences to go through, and I’ve been through several myself when it comes to dating women. Whether they had BPD or not doesn’t really matter: getting ghosted or ditched out of the blue hurts. And, if you’re not prepared for it, it can stop you in your tracks for several months.

Why Are BPD Relationships So Hard To Move On From?

by Rick Leave a Comment

moving on bpd relationships

In comes a story from a guy who is finding it very hard to move on after his BPD relationship ended.

This is actually a pretty common story I get from people who stumble onto my blog. There’s something about the way I write and what I believe that causes them to send me 2,000+ word stories.

I don’t mind it. They make for good lessons because you can read my comments about the BPD relationship and my advice for the guy or girl writing in.

It’s a great way to learn my philosophy and mentality when it comes to making BPD relationships less toxic and healthy in some cases.

Anyway, you’ll notice a common theme in this story: the guy believes he is at zero fault here and that his ex is 100% responsible for the failure of the relationship.

It’s complete horeshit of course, but you’ll have to read my comments in bold to learn why. Enjoy!

by Rick Leave a Comment

bpd healthy relationships

Here’s a (long) story that a reader wrote in to me about his experience with a BPD relationship.

As with most people who find my website, they are looking for a way to have a romantic, fulfilling relationship with someone who suffers from Borderline Personality Disorder.

If you have read my other articles, you know that I clearly dating someone with BPD is possible. In fact, it can be quite fun as long as you have the correct attitude and belief system that I teach.

Of course that is easier said than done. So, I want you to check out this story that was sent to me and see if you can find all the mistakes that this man made in his relationship.

Borderline Ex Stopped Communicating. What Should You Do?

by Rick 68 Comments

BPD ex stop communication

As someone who has dated someone with BPD, and have several friends with BPD, I want to share some advice about what to do when your borderline ex stops communicating and cuts you off.

It’s a common question I receive from both men and women who are in relationships with people who have BPD.

Now, you don’t need to some communication or relationship “expert” to make these relationships succeed.

In fact, I would say it’s much better to beĀ experienced than to be “smart”. This is true in the real world and it holds true for relationships as well.

7 Ways to Strengthen and Improve BPD Relationships

by Rick Leave a Comment

strengthen relationships

I have a soft spot in my heart for borderlines because my first relationship was with a girl who has BPD. In fact, I’ve dated several borderline women over the years.

These relationships can be extremely difficult when you don’t have the knowledge and the skills needed to be with these people.

And, depending on the level of her personality disorder, it could very well be impossible to have a healthy relationship with her.

But, that shouldn’t prevent you from at leastĀ trying to make it work. Which is why I’m here with this website and why I’m passionate about helping men and women succeed in borderline relationships.
